Don Diego de la Vega, son of a wealthy landowner, returns to Alta California to find Los Angeles citizens being crushed by oppression. When seizing money and land no longer satisfies him, Ramon begins selling the poor citizens into slavery to fill his coffers. Then, from out of the night, a hero in black appears to clash blades with the oppressors — Señor Zorro, whose sword is a flame to right every wrong!
