Among the publishers were Bold Venture Press, Adventure House, Gryphon Books, Fenham Publishing, and Murania Press. On hand were authors Martin Grams, William Patrick Maynard, Wayne Carey, and Peter David who dressed at The Shadow. The show featured vintage comics and pulp magazines along with newly released material by modern authors. Easy to find were tales of classic characters such as The Shadow, Tarzan, Doc Savage, Flash Gordon, John Carter, Dick Tracey, Black Bat, Domino Lady, Alan Quartermaine, Zorro, and more. The art, comic, book, and pulp magazine displays were enjoyed by the book lovers and collectors who wandered the ballroom.

The event had a nice turnout considering it was being held during a pandemic.

New Print Series and Website from Duncan Regehr

Duncan Regehr

Acclaimed Zorro actor and artist, Duncan Regehr, announces a new print series and website.

The Forgotten Woman - Duncan's latest series:
Women need to remember their own forgotten woman. -  Anne Graves

Many pass through the world haven hidden, quelled, or sacrificed essential aspects of self and by choice or by force of circumstance adopt alternative ways of being. Some leave behind the spirit they knew well in childhood. Some retain a secret self. Others remain invisible to themselves throughout life. Unacknowledged and unobserved by the world, they are forgotten.

Contrasting color schemes are integral to the theme of "The Forgotten Woman". Female figures appear separated from their environments, yet suspended within them. Remote greyish backgrounds magnify their vibrancy. As with "The Lost Man" series, the vivid figures are the polar opposites of their surroundings.  - Duncan Regehr
